ANOTHER major new housing development  has been proposed for Hereford.

Bovis is preparing a planning application for 150 homes on a 6.5 hectare site east of Aylestone Hill.

A pre-application public exhibition is being held at the Royal National College for the Blind's  Norwood Room next Tuesday (February 11) between 2pm-8pm.

Bovis says the composition of the proposed development is "still evolving".

However, the company concedes that it is "likely"  the development will comprise of 150 homes, public open space, landscaping and highway works.

Also proposed is the demolition of an existing home on Aylestone Hill to allow for access.
