TWO Leominster women have been awarded for their contribution to the town.

At a Leominster Town Council meeting last month, two awards were handed out to those who had made a difference.

Clare Fulloway was awarded for her work with Leominster's youth over many years – particularly her work with the town cadets.

The town council noted that without the dedication of Clare then such opportunities would not be there for the youngsters and both they and the town would be the poorer.

Hazel Hodges was also awarded for her quiet contribution to a deep level of care and kindness to those in need of support and help.

The council noted that she is known for her contribution to many people who, at times of difficulty, she has quietly and privately assisted.
