AN urgent appeal has gone out to find a new youth leader to avoid closure of Leominster's St John Ambulance cadet unit.
The unit, which meets weekly at the Leominster Business Plaza, needs an adult volunteer over 18 to help with the running of the group.
The cadets work towards first aid and other qualifications and take part in social activities.
No previous first aid or youth leading experience is required for the role as full training will be given.
Any would-be leader will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure and complete a mandatory course.
To volunteer, call Carolyn Zivoder on 0121 236 6660 or email carolyn.zivoder@sja.org.uk
