THIEVES stole stock worth £800 from a hairdressers in Ledbury.
Janet's Hair Salon on New Street was broken in to sometime between 5pm last Wednesday evening (January 15) and 8am Thursday morning (January 16).
A locked window on the ground floor was prised open and all of the shop's retail stock, worth £800, was stolen.
Thieves also stole £170 in cash and caused £200 of damage to the window.
Salon manager, Lisa Beavan, whose mother Janet owns the salon, said it was a 'horrible' experience.
She said: "We opened again later on Thursday but we're all feeling upset. Everyone just feels absolutely sick.
"It's not very nice knowing that someone has been in the salon and done this, when usually it's a really happy, friendly place to be. They've completely ruined the window and took absolutely everything they could, even the girls' tip boxes."
Police are asking for anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area overnight or anyone who has been offered cheap hair products to contact them on 101 quoting 117s 160114.
