MOTORISTS are being warned to take extra care on the roads today due to icy conditions.

Police attended a collision involving a single van at 7.25am this morning on the A449 near Much Marcle.

One man was treated by ambulance at the scene.

Emergency services were also called to a collision involving a car which rolled over and ended up in a ditch between the A465 and the A49 near Callow. The 23-year-old driver was reportedly not injured.

As both of these roads were icy when the collisions happened, West Mercia Police are warning people to take extra care when travelling.

A youngster and a scooter went past my house, unfortunately they were several yards apart, no injurys on a very slippery road that is usually well salted.

What a fabulous image Mr H.

I have taken the precaution of getting Winter Tyres fitted to my Mobility Scooter. When one weighs more than 30 stones one cannot be too careful whilst popping out to Morrisons for pies and Margarine.

I have decided to build an igloo in the garden next month as it will be cold enough to turn off the freezers, put em outside and open up the lids.
I have always wanted to know if it is possible to effectively build an igloo in the UK and then the most important thing, can one light a fire inside it?. I realize this means I'll have to have a hole in the roof though. I don't quite understand how the inuits would have had fires but I am reliably informed they did
I may struggle to get the old mobility scooter in through the tiny aperture serving as a door but I stand a better chance with me winter tyres than without.
