A COOKBOOK stuffed with local recipes has been commended by a national newspaper.
Made in Herefordshire, which features more than 80 recipes created by county food artisans and producers, was this week named as the "cookbook of the week" by the Daily Telegraph.
The newspaper's Carolyn Hart said that the book is "full of delicious recipes that celebrate the bounty of Herefordshire" and included the recipe for Dorothy Goodbody's luxurious chocolate cake.
The commendation comes just two months after the Duke of Gloucester gave his royal seal of approval during the book's launch at Wiggly Wigglers in Blakemere.
It was compiled by food photographers Rebecca and Simon Wild and supported by food ambassador and British Cassis producer Jo Hilditch.
