TRAIN users faced severe problems on Sunday after a lorry hit a railway bridge in Hereford.
Services on the Arriva Trains Wales (AVW) line between Hereford and Abergavenny were suspended following the collision that happened in Ledbury Road shortly before 11.30am.
Engineers spent the rest of the day working on the bridge, that sustained damage to its underside.
Temporary traffic lights were also in place in Ledbury Road, near to the Texaco garage.
The bridge was later deemed safe and trains were back up and running by 10pm.
AVW provided rail replacement buses for commuters while services were disrupted.
