A CHANCE encounter at a county college has reunited two guide dog brothers.
Len and Lyle were re-united at The Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) when returning student Ben Rendle and new trainee Simmi Gould began the autumn term.
Born in the same litter on Christmas Day, the brothers will celebrate their fourth birthday this year.
Their paths stayed apart after birth as Len was matched with Ben, from Wigan, and Lyle became Simmi’s guide dog in Solihull.
But they were reunited when this term began and met in the college's Student Hub – Ben had received funding for a third year at the College and Simmi arrived as an adult trainee in Complementary Therapies.
