A COUNTY theatre company is making one last go of recruiting new members.
The Hereford Times reported last month that Bare Bones Theatre Company was at risk of folding if it could not recruit more 35 to 45-year-old performers.
But the response was poor and the group is still unable to plan its 2014 programme.
"We are now proposing to ask readers if they have any interest in performing in specific plays, to see if this is a more successful formula ," said Dave Baldwin, chairman of the company.
"We are proposing Prisoner of Second Avenue by Neil Simon, Birthday Party by Harold Pinter and Entertaining Mister Sloane by Joe Orton."
Plays will be presented at numerous venues during April, August and November 2014.
"This represents our final effort at recruiting interested actors to keep our group running and to ensure the availability of low-cost live theatre in the rural communities of Herefordshire," Dave added.
Anyone interested in participating in any of the productions can call Dave on 01981 540820 or email davebaldwin@sky.com
