MOTORISTS wanting to get to Kington from Hereford could find themselves scratching their heads.
The sign in Edgar Street says that the route to Kington is along the A4110.
The fastest way to the market town from the city is along the A4111 - as is shown on another sign in nearby Eign Street.
The A4110 starts on Three Elms Road and joins the Canon Pyon road through to Leintwardine.
Herefordshire Council press officer Michelle Morgan said the highways department was not aware of the situation, but contractors have been told to correct the information.
