A MAN is due before Hereford Magistrates Court today after being charged with a number of offences against women at a county health club.

Mark Morrison, of Martins Close, Woolhope, is charged with five counts of sexual assault, 25 counts of voyeurism and one count of perverting the course of justice.

The 43-year-old was charged by detectives last night after police received complaints from a number of women who attended Wye Leisure in Fownhope.

Morrison previously worked there as a chiropractor.

Detective Sergeant Tim Powell from Hereford police station said: “As part of our inquiries, we have already spoken to a number of women who were clients of Morrison.

“I would urge anyone else who we have not yet spoken to - but feels they may have information relating to our investigation - to call Hereford CID on 101.”

Christina Maclean, from Wye Leisure, said: “We are cooperating fully with police investigations and continue to take all appropriate steps to ensure the health and safety of our members and visitors.

“It would be inappropriate for us to comment further while this case is ongoing.”
