'Walk and talk' at Kentchurch Court with Archie Miles
7:00pm Thursday 31st October 2013 in News
ON Sunday, Kentchurch Court presents its second autumn ‘walk and talk’, this year in association with renowned tree photographer and writer, Archie Miles.
The event offers the rare chance to embark on a guided walk around the remarkable medieval deer park at Kentchurch, a landscape that’s changed little over the last two hundred years, home to deer and a host of exceptional trees.
The day starts at 9.30am, and includes the guided walk led by Archie, lunch and a post-lunch talk by Jan Lucas-Scudamore about the challenges of running Kentchurch and its appearance on Country House Rescue, which will be followed by an illustrated talk by Archie Miles on the heritage trees of Herefordshire and the Welsh borders.
Places are limited. To book, call Jan Lucas-Scudamore on 01981 240228 or email email@example.com
- Archie Miles will also be giving a talk, in association with Herefordshire Nature Trust, about his latest book, The British Oak, an illustrated monograph on Britain’s most iconic tree, at The Griffin Centre, Hereford Sixth Form College, Folly Lane on Friday, November 8, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm.
