THE new Arts Alive season presents some of the bestknown and most popular companies on the rural touring circuits, among them the unforgettable New Rope String Band, who will be at Weobley Village Hall on Saturday, October 5.

Reviewers struggle to describe the New Rope’s hallmark confusion of music, comedy and circus but one thing’s for certain: they manage to please absolutely everybody! Their talented musicianship would be enough to grab the crowds but combined with imagination, humour and wit, backchat and general larking about, a thoroughly enjoyable evening is guaranteed.

“We love bringing new companies to our audiences,”

says Sian Kerry of Arts Alive, “but New Rope are a perennial favourite; a clever, funny, musical trio almost guaranteed to sell out.”

The New Rope String Band will be at Weobley Village Hall on Saturday, October 5 at 7.30pm. To book, call 01544 318322 or visit artsalive.co.uk for further details and online booking.
