Man goes into cardiac arrest at Eastnor Land Rover Show

A MAN was brought back to life after going into cardiac arrest at the Eastnor Land Rover Show on Monday.
Paramedics raced to the scene at Eastnor Castle’s Deer Park to find the man being given CPR by first aiders shortly before 9am.
Crews then took over resuscitation efforts and continued CPR, as well as shocking the man’s heart several times with a defibrillator. After four shocks, his heart was restarted and he began to breathe.
His condition was then stabilised and he was given life-saving drugs and oxygen before he was airlifted to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.
• Meanwhile, a Land Rover Defender was stolen from the event on Sunday.
Police say that the vehicle, worth around £20,000 and with the registation VM59 GKV, was taken from a car park between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
