A HEREFORDSHIRE estate is seeking skilled wood workers and crafts people to be part of a week long celebration of their woodlands.
The National Trust at Brockhampton Estate, near Bromyard, is looking for people who can carve, whittle, lathe and weave wood to join them in an event dedicated to wood and trees.
From May 25 to June 2 the 1,700 acre working estate will host a 'Tree-mendous Brockhampton' week to showcase everything associated with wood, woodland management, tree care and the many traditional crafts and uses of wood.
The trust manages 700 acres of mixed woodland on the estate which is home to veteran trees of oak, ash and beech, with some of the oaks planted nearly 500 years ago.
