GET your hands on some hot graphic prints and products at a pop-up shop on Hereford’s Bridge Street - before these young designers become famous.

There’s two days left to check out ‘Pop It Up’ – a temporary shop set up by Graphic Design degree students from Hereford College of Arts to put their own work on sale.

Proving their talents aren’t limited to the creative side, students put their entrepreneurial skills to the test, going through the grind of organising and promoting an event, start to finish.

“The experience of planning and running the event has been a real eye opener and taught us a lot about the practicalities of designing for business,” said says Abby Jones, a student on the course, “We’re all really excited about ‘Pop It Up’.

“For a lot of us it’s the first time we’ve made any work to be sold to the public, and local businesses and organisations have all been really supportive.”

‘Pop It Up’ will be open 10am – 6pm today and tomorrow at the Art 360 space on Bridge Street.

Check it out on Facebook to get an idea what’s on offer.
