Crash on Old Gore junction near Ross-on-Wye - road closed

A MAN has been taken to hospital following a crash near Ross-on-Wye this afternoon.
Emergency services were caleld to the junction of the A449 and the B4224 at 2.20pm.
The collision involved a Mercedes Sprinter van and a BMW 3-Series.
The male driver of the van, a man in his 40s, was initially trapped in the vehicle before he was released and treated by paramedics.
He sustained abdominal pain and spinal stiffness and was taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
The road is currently closed while the vehicles are recovered.
