Teenage relationship abuse film to be shown at film festival

A FILM on abusive teenage relationships will be premiered at the Borderline’s Film Festival on Wednesday (March 6).

The 20-minute film, called ‘Can You See Me?’, was made by Hereford-based production, education and development charity The Rural Media Company and was funded by The Midcounties Co-operative.

The film, developed in partnership with national Women’s Aid and West Mercia Women’s Aid, focuses on an unhealthy relationship between two teenagers, Jake and Ellie, and together with an educational resource and tailored lesson plans, it will be made available nationwide and free of charge to schools and youth workers.

The film will be screened at 2pm at The Courtyard and is open to the public.
