Resurfacing work on busy Hereford road postponed

RESURFACING work on the A49 in Hereford has been postponed.
The work between Newtown Road and Newmarket Street was due to start last week and take up to three weeks to complete.
However, work to replace road signs has been taking place.
The Highways Agency will notify motorists when the work will be rescheduled.

I was really looking forward to the tactile pavements at the crossings.

Armadillo, I think they are slowly cottoning on to the fact that they've finally started a project and realised that, no, the current infrastructure won't cope. I mean, they've cleared the area now, now it's time to add construction gear, building material delivers and what not on top of the already crowded road.
Anyone notice that they've slap roadworks on the cut through (Blackfriars Street) across the opening of the Merton Meadow car park now lol

As far as I know the resurfacing was along Edgar St up to Blackfriars St turning.

They were pile testing the ground where the link Rd is going last Saturday so I guess they are doing the same there

Dont forget you al,l report all pot holes and craters as if you or your vehicle get damaged the hole in question must have been reported prior to you driving or walking into it.
