Assault outside Mr Chips in Hereford

POLICE would like to speak to anyone who witnessed a fight in Hereford in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

A man sustained a broken nose and cheekbone during an altercation with another man that happened outside Mr Chips in Commercial Road at around 4am.

A man in his late teens has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail.

Officers have spoken to some people who saw what happened, but are are keen to hear from any independent witnesses.

Using an inane pun in the context of this incident indicates a lack of compassion for the man assaulted outside the chip shop. Did silentbull suggest the poor man haddock coming to him?
