HEREFORD Sixth Form College students will remember when the Olympic Torch came to town after a road running through their campus was named after the historic event.
Josie Pearson, the county’s very own golden girl, returned to her former place of study to officially unveil a road off Folly Lane as Olympic Way.
The college had the honour of having two torchbearers carry the flame through the site in May and students were asked to think of a name to recognise the occasion.
