A HEREFORD woman paid tribute to her grandfather when she travelled to the church on her wedding day.
Elizabeth Hinksman, from Whitecross, arrived at the church on Saturday, December 22 on a potato delivery van.
The alternative wedding car was used by her granddad, Geoff Hinksman, for his potato business.
Geoff Hinksman Potatoes were known throughout the county and a similar van was used to transport the coffin at Geoff’s funeral in 2009.
Elizabeth, who married partner of four years Andrew Williams at St Paul’s Church in Tupsley, told the Hereford Times she wanted to carry on the family tradition.
