THE Hereford College of Arts and Visit Herefordshire have joined forces to produce a 2013 calendar.

The project gave photography students from the college the chance to take pictures for the tourism body's new calendar.

The brief was to capture shots that encapsulate the essence of the county.

Wendy Tolley, business development manager at the college, said: “Projects of this nature provide students with an invaluable opportunity to gain industry experience and to see their work as a product which is then sold.

Among the 12 pictures used were the Victoria Bridge at night, a walk through the woods and a peaceful row down the river.

The calender is on sale at the Discover Herefordshire Shop in King Street, Hereford and costs £5.

Who wants to buy my calendar? It's part of my project called "Here You Can't" - it's beautiful, theres the demolition on ESG, the failed floods defences, October features Herefords greatest pot holes and the cover is a montage of all the empty shops while people sell junk on the streets from under tarpaulin

Aww come on Biomech..
Herefordshire is a very beautiful place with nice people in it really.
Although alll those things you say are true. I blame the council/government.
I drive past a "here you can" sign every day and I am amazed it hasn't been graffitied. What has happened to the kids these days. No imagination.
Not even a comedy willy drawn on it in marker pen!

If you think students don't have any imagination these days then buy the calendar, you'll be suitably amazed at the quality if the work
