IT has been a busy time for the Little Princess Trust.

Hair has been cut and golf balls hit for the Hereford charity that provides real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss through cancer treatment.

Certainly Wood was the company behind a golf day that raised almost £3,000 for the Trust at Belmont Golf Course.

Nearly 50 golfers took part with a team from Euroheat and Border Office Supplies winning competitions.

And Grace Whiting did her bit by raising more than £300 for the same charity by cutting off her brown locks.

The seven-year-old St Thomas Cantilupe School pupil’s hair will also be used as a wig for youngsters undergoing cancer treatment.

Donations can still be sent to Grace by visiting justgiving.com/Karenwhiting1.

  • The trust’s annual general meeting takes place from 7.30pm on November 15 in the dining hall at Hereford Cathedral School. For details, call The charity can be contacted on 0845 094 4509 or e-mail info@littleprincesses.org.uk.
