PREVIOUSLY seen at Ledbury earlier this year, Reaction TheatreMakers return to Herefordshire with their production of The Slip, as part of Arts Alive’s autumn programme.
Described by one Arts Alive promoter as: “the best piece of drama I have ever seen”, The Slip is a compelling tale of relationships, tidal waves and transformation, based on the novel, Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy. It links present and future in exploring the story of Zoe, worrying about her marriage and about the town she lives in, which is in danger from the sea. With a great soundtrack and a Radio DJ host, the play looks at communication and its breakdown and asks: “What if? What could happen next? What does the future hold?”
The Slip is at Garway Village Hall at 8pm tomorrow, Friday. For tickets, call 01981 580056, or go to artsalive.co.uk
