Hereford City Southside and Rural Southside neighbourhood policing team

Inspector Carl Paskin

Carl has been a police officer for 23 years. He has served in Telford, Redditch, Worcester and most recently Hereford. Much of his service has been in a 24 hour response role. Carl was a Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant for 3 years and has worked as a custody sergeant for a similar period. His favourite aspect of the job is the variety that comes with dealing with people from all walks of life.

Carl is a keen cyclist in the warmer months, often travelling long distances as part of a holiday.

Sergeant Emma Freer

Sergeant Emma Freer first joined Thames Valley Police in 1997 and transferred to West Mercia Police as a Sergeant in 2004. Emma has been a Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant since 2010. She is currently responsible for Hereford City Northside and Hereford Rural North Safer Neighbourhood Team.
