He is also a regular television and radio panelist/political commentator having appeared on BBC News 24, Sky News, and Radio 4's Start the Week, Westminster Hour, Analysis and Any Questions? programmes. Given such a pedigree it would be most surprising if he were not to forge a considerable Parliamentary career - external expectations of him would be eventually for a Cabinet seat rather than junior ministerial status. He is one of the tallest MPs being a mere 6 foot 5 inches.
Political History - Political Adviser to Shadow Work & Pensions Team, George Osbourne MP as Shadow Chancellor, and to Boris Johnson as London Mayor, Chairman, Conservative Co-operative Movement, Member for Hereford and South Herefordshire (2010-). Its successor Compassionate Economics was hailed by Daniel Hannan MEP as being 'the most intelligent political tract of 2009, and the best analysis of the credit crunch.'
