I have 14 years police service and have undertaken various roles including patrol, custody and SNT. I have been a Safer Neighbourhood Inspector since October 2018. 

I have a real passion for ensuring that my team work effectively to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, to bring offenders to justice and to protect the most vulnerable. 

It's important that your Safer Neighbourhood Teams listen to local concerns and work with local partners to make Hereford a safer place.

PCSO Christina Howard has worked for West Mercia Police since 2007. Christina started her career working in Leominster Town, where she was based for 7 years before moving to Hereford. Christina is now part of the St Martins and Hinton Team based at South Wye Police Station.

Police Community Support Officer Hayley Warne

PCSO Hayley Warne joined West Mercia in June 2015 having previously worked in retail. She joined South Wye SNT until March 2016 before being seconded for 12 months to the Rural, Business and Cyber Crime department where she learned numerous skills. Hayley is now back at South Wye SNT and is eager to share all that she has learned.

Police Community Support Officer Raj Matthews

Raj joined West Midlands Police in 2008 and was initially posted to Tipton in the Sandwell area. She has worked a variety of areas including Oldbury, Langley, Smethwick, Wednesbury and finally Walsall town centre. Raj was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to work alongside young people with the Prince's Trust and she became a team leader on the programme, providing training, mentoring support and offering practical help aimed at building the confidence and motivation of disadvantaged young people. Seeking fresh challenges in 2016, she transferred to West Mercia Police. Raj enjoys meeting local residents and hopes to provide long term solutions to their concerns and priorities.

Police Community Support Officer Carol Marsh

I'm Carol Marsh and I began working for West Mercia Police in 2006. I have worked as a police community support officer in Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Worcester City centre, Upton upon Severn and Malvern (Pickersleigh). Since 2018 I have been part of the Hereford Team and am really enjoying working with my new colleagues, meeting the residents and dealing with the different challenges on patch! In my personal life I have gained a lot of experience in voluntary youth work, especially within the Air Cadet Organisation where I hold the rank of Squadron Leader RAFVR(T), responsible for adult training within the Wales & West region.
