Dorstone Front Room hosts exhibition of animal portraiture

AN exhibition of animal portraits by local nature, wildlife and pet photographer Gill Perkins, can be seen at Dorstone’s Front Room and Outpost Gallery until the end of July.
From specially commissioned portraits of cute, must-take-home puppies to soaring red kites and a striking black stallion, the exhibition offers a great mix of Gill’s photographs.
Previewing the pictures David Bailey, Welsh Wildlife Photographer 2011, observed that: “Gill’s years of working with animals makes her work stand out from the crowd, in particular her portrait work where she get the very best from her subjects.”
The exhibition runs until the end of July, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 1pm.
