AN exhibition of paintings by Kington artist Angela Gladwell opens at Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog on Saturday.
She will be showing oil paintings and watercolours from the past 13 years, some of which are available as limited edition prints.
Angela paints a wide range of subjects, including portraits, museum specimens, water scenes, landscapes, natural history, still lifes, flowers, textiles and beaches. What links her work is an attention to detail, drawing and the close observation of surfaces and textures.
She trained at the Royal College of Art in London and has work in various public and private collections.
The exhibition continues through to September 2. For details check the website at www.angelagladwell.co.uk
