THE beauty of the outdoors comes inside to The Courtyard in Hereford as two new exhibitions get underway.
The beautiful and diverse artistic natural insights of Bernard Irwin and Richard Booth will be on display until September 19.
Bernard Irwin’s abstract paintings have been inspired by the stunning surroundings of his Chyenhal home in Cornwall, while Richard Booth’s near-field and close-up photographs focus on the often overlooked aspects and details of the average landscape.
“The ordinary on closer inspection can become the extraordinary,”
Richard said.
“My aim is to recognise and re-examine the simple beauties of nature, and appreciate the treasures we have at our fingertips.”
The Courtyard’s gallery space is free to explore from 9am until late Monday to Saturday, and on Sundays from 11am to 4.30pm. For more information, visit courtyard.org.uk.
