A BEAUTIFUL new exhibition can be seen at The Courtyard from today (Thursday).
Aberystwyth Printmakers’ display, which runs until April 24, showcases the skill and diversity of its members, exploring and encapsulating the endless possibilities of printmaking.
The Aberystwyth Printmakers is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to the development, maintenance and improvement of fine art printmaking and print facilities in and around Aberystwyth.
The group was established in 2004 to represent the surprisingly rich plethora of printmaking activity in the mid-Wales area.
The group currently has more than 50 members and in recent years has been highly successful in raising the profile of printmaking in the region.
They aim to create a world-class open-access printmaking workshop and currently offer members etching and relief printing facilities at the Gorwelian site based in Aberystwyth.
The Courtyard’s gallery space is free to explore and opens Monday to Saturday, 10am to 10pm. From April 11, it will also be open on Sundays, 11am to 4.30pm. For more information, visit courtyard.org.uk or call the box office on 01432 340555.
