AN impromptu exhibition is running over the next two weekends in a currently empty shop at 22 Broad Street, Hay-on-Wye.

It features 10 large, sensitively executed, pieces of stained glass by local artist Rowan McOnegal.

Rowan, a qualified medical herbalist, has created a stunning range of stained glass works featuring many of the plants and herbs she nurtures in her garden. She also runs courses on hedgerow medicine from her home.

The exhibition will be open from today until Sunday and from Thursday, December 17, to Sunday, December 20, 10am to 5pm each day.
