THE current exhibition at The Kington Gallery is a first solo outing for Julia D Gray, an eyecatching display of art and storylines, with colours and textures created in fine lines painted in pixels and light.
Each piece is unique, never to be repeated, with new works continually replacing the rapidly selling pieces.
"I experienced a feeling of complete peace looking at the display," said one visitor.
"It all began by using Photoshop for photography," says Julia, explaining the evolution of her pixel art. "initially to enhance my work, but I enjoyed it so much I started to use more and more software for artwork and design. Now I find I am using my computer as a design tool as much as I do my pad, pencils and inks.
"I love futuristic designs and worlds never before seen. I love colour in the extreme and looking back at the prehistoric and ancient ways. Everything is now possible."
The exhibition is open every weekend until Sunday, February 1, and by appointment - call 01544 231581 - on weekday afternoons.
