GLASBURY Arts 11th annual Visual Arts Exhibition will as in previous years, feature an exciting line-up, including two paintings by Cedric Morris, on loan from Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Gallery and originally gifted by the Contemporary Arts Society for Wales.

The exhibition will also include a selection of work by Josef Herman who spent 11 years working in Ystradgynlais, and whose work can be seen in many collections such as Tate Britain and National Portrait Gallery.

Glasbury Arts is delighted, too, to welcome Hannah Firmin, the illustrator for Alexander McCall Smith’s No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency novels.

As always, the exhibition will also include work from many talented local artists, including Caitriona Cartwright, John Darlison, Victoria Keeble, Gail Stokes Hayward, Dawn Cripps, Joan Charleton, Antonia Spower, Ros Garratt, Kate Freeman and the GCSE and A-Level work of students at Gwernyfed High School, and Glasbury Arts welcomes leading Welsh sculptor Dilys Powell for the first time.

The exhibition runs from Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 2. Opening times: Thursday, 7 to 9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5.30pm
