APPLE Store Gallery has moved to Rockfield Road to fulfil a long-held ambition of combining a fine art gallery and framing workshop with artists' studios, and their opening exhibition, Forest Friends, features work by Doug Eaton, Dani Eveleigh, Ian Gorton, Sally Grant, Rowan Hannay, Bela Kielt, Molly Meager, Leah Robinson and Sally Stafford. The gallery also welcomes Allan Laycock, RWA, whose work can be found in private and public collections in the UK and overseas, as a guest exhibitor.
Situated next to Artsite 3 in Rockfield Road the new premises will continue to hold monthly exhibitions of local artists' paintings, fine art prints, photography, digital imagery, ceramics, textiles and sculpture and provide studio space to rent for local artists, full details of which can be found on the website at applestoregallery.co.uk.
Forest Friends runs until Saturday, June 21. Normal opening times: Tuesdays to Fridays, 9.30am to 4.30pm and Saturdays, 10am to 1pm. Other times by arrangement.
