After three and a half successful years at Bridge Street, Apple Store Gallery is moving in order to fulfill a long held ambition.

"Since we started in Brockhampton in 2005, we have held a series of exhibitions of local artists' work and local authors' books, run artists' workshops, poetry evenings, talks and musical events," says Marion Campbell. "But the one thing we haven't been able to do is offer artists' workshop spaces."

Situated next to Artsite 3 in Rockfield Road, the gallery's new premises will continue to offer monthly exhibitions, bespoke framing and studio space to rent for local artists.

"We hope the new facility will complement other similar schemes which have started in Hereford in the past few years and further enhance the offer for practising artists who contribute so much to the economic and cultural life of the city and county," adds Marion.

The gallery's first scheduled exhibition will start in May and feature work by Doug Eaton, Mariette Voke, Nigel Lambert, Sally Stafford, Sally Grant, Molly Meager, Dani Eveleigh and Rowan Hannay.
