HEREFORDSHIRE-based artists Maggie Banks and Richard Bavin are showcasing their latest project at the Apple Store Gallery in Bridge Street this month.
With a passion for trees, it’s no wonder Richard Bavin closed the doors on office work and headed for the outdoors to launch a new career.
Fellow artist Maggie Banks,has work rich with rural scenes and as an open air artist herself, they have spent the last year together, capturing the changing moods of the Brecon Beacons. Tents became their temporary studios where the captivating landscape and shifting weather transformed their surroundings, fuelling the dynamic pieces.
Meet the artists on Saturday, August 17 between 10am and 3pm, and see their working materials and the tents which became their home.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, August 31, Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm.
