TRAVEL guide and adventurer John Harrison presents Forgotten Footprints, a journey into the heads and hearts of those who were driven to explore the unknown land of Antarctica.

Forgotten Footprints, at The Courtyard on Thursday, June 28, offers the chance to hear stories, both personal and historical, from a traveller with many years’ experience of this mysterious continent. Hear about the night that lasts for months, the ever-changing Deception Island and find out who really discovered Antarctica.

John Harrison is a travel guide, adventurer, and award-winning author who spends much of the year driving small boats in the polar region, and guiding and lecturing on expedition vessels. His previous book, Cloud Road, won Wales Book of the Year in 2011.
