Magic in Lingen Village Hall

12:02pm Thursday 25th February 2010

ACCOUNTANT-turnedmagician Ian Keable promises to expose some of the myths about performing magic when he appears at Cawley Hall in Eye tomorrow and in Lingen Village Hall on Saturday.

Ian will explain why mirrors are rarely used, how items are not secreted up the sleeve and why the hand is most definitely not quicker than the eye.

He will also demonstrate different branches of the magical art, including mindreading and close-up magic, all blended with laugh-outloud comedy magic.

“This is the first time we have featured a magician on Arts Alive and I am sure this blend of comedy and magic will have the audiences agog and amazed,” says Sian Kerry, director of Arts Alive.

Ian will be at Cawley Hall in Eye near Leominster tomorrow at 7.30pm. To book, call 01568 615836.

On Saturday the show moves to Lingen Village Hall where a pre-show meal is available from 6pm. To book, call 01544 262896.
