MASTER choreographer Stephen Petronio is as famed for his collaborations as for the quality of his dance, and in the pieces to be performed at Wales Millennium Centre on Friday, October 17 (Bud Suite and Bloom) his partnership with musician Rufus Wainwright takes his work onto a new level.
Petronio doesn’t tell stories, he makes his dancers perform some of the most demanding twists and turns you’ll see on a stage today to reflect how ordinary people feel and think, drawing on the highs and lows of our lives and gaining him a reputation as one of the great choreographers of the moment. Stephen Petronio’s Triple Bill is at WMC on October 17 and 18, at 7.30pm.
