From Fiddler to Godspell

FOLLOWING the huge success of Fiddler on the Roof, their first production under their new name, Hereford Musical Theatre Company is currently in rehearsals for their forthcoming production of Godspell, one of the biggest broadway successes of all time.
Featuring a sparkling, seminal score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell boasts a string of recognisable songs, Day by Day, Save the People, Prepare ye the Way of the Lord and By My Side and is, of course, famous for having launched the career of David Essex back in the 1970s when he appeared in the lead role as Jesus.
