A visually stunning performance inspired by real-life stories of homelessness comes to The Courtyard next week.

Theatre Témoin’s The Marked tells the story of Jack who, as a boy, lived in a world of monsters and invisible guardians as he fought to protect the people he loved. Now grown, his life on the streets of London is less fantastical but when a ghost from his past turns up, Jack must harness the power of forgotten myths to defeat her. Spinning together mask, puppetry and physical theatre, Theatre Témoin will create a haunting, mystical wonderland.

A multi-award winning physical theatre company, Theatre Témoin are dedicated to international collaborations in the creation of new work that is daring, engaging, and fun. In developing The Marked, they ran 18 months of theatre workshops with homeless charities, and with consultants with experience of homelessness.

Young people aged 14 – 25 can get 10 per cent off this production with The Courtyard Card, along with special discounts and e-newsletters. Sign up now online or at the Box Office.
