THE Snow Baby, a gentle piece exploring family, love and loss can be seen on Saturday, February 18 as part of The Courtyard's Family Saturdays. a programme of family events taking place at the venue every weekend.

Wrapped up in a snowy smother, Doris and her Bear man fall in love. But that is just the beginning of the story. When the storm comes and her Bear man disappears, she has to cope alone on a hill plagued with nothing but bad weather and a cloud of hungry crows for company.

Suitable for ages three and above, The Snow Baby offers beautiful tabletop puppetry, imaginative storytelling with lots of music, confetti and funny bits for the whole family to enjoy!

The Snow Baby was first developed in 2012 by Soap Soup Theatre, a company that fuses puppetry, performance and contemporary music, and is currently touring nationally.

Children can make a snow globe before the show as a free, fun pre-activity from 10.30am.

The Snow Baby will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Saturday, February 18 at 11am. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
