THE bewitching tale of an aristocrat haunted by the ghosts of his past comes to The Courtyard next week.
A family of slaughtered deer have watched over the dining hall of a cruel man of his times; now they’re putting their severed heads together to form a plan. Using aerial artistry, ballet and circus skills, Savage Hart creates a captivating, magical and visually striking performance which will leave audiences mesmerised.
Citrus Arts was founded in 2009 by Welsh artists James and Bridie Doyle-Roberts who share a background in circus, street theatre, drama and dance. They create original works that mix spectacle, physical skills and technical ingenuity to present thoughtful and progressive shows of high artistic quality.
Drawn from the stories found amongst the overgrown ruins of the Hafod Estate in mid-Wales, Savage Hart is a story of mankind’s dominion over nature against the masked savagery of the animal world.
Young people aged 14 – 25 can get 10 percent off this production with The Courtyard Card, along with special discounts and e-newsletters. Sign up now online or at the Box Office.
