NEWPORT House garden provides the setting for A Winter’s Tale performed by the Willow Globe Company on Sunday, June 26.
Experience this magical fairytale full of furies, owers, a bear, storms and a sheep-shearing feast in the beautiful gardens of Newport House, by kind permission of David and Jenny Watt.
The Willow Globe Company has established a reputation for producing accessible and extremely entertaining productions of Shakespeare’s plays.
Drawn from the community of Mid-Wales, the Willow Globe Company’s members range in age from four to 84. Although from all kinds of backgrounds they share a common passion for Shakespeare and working as an ensemble.
Gates open at 2pm, performance starts at 3pm. Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance by contacting the Community Fundraising Team on 01432 851000 or email events@st-michaels-hospice.org.uk. Accessible to wheelchair users
As no seating is provided, please bring your own chairs or rug. Cream teas and Pimm’s will be available to buy and visitors are welcome to view the gardens. Assistance dogs only
Proceeds from this event will be split between St Michael’s Hospice and the Willow Globe Company.
