SIXTH form students at John Masefield High School in Ledbury present Little Shop of Horrors at 7pm tomorrow.

The entire production has been funded, directed and produced by the students as part of their weekly enrichment programme run by the school’s Head of Drama, Steph Underwood-Webb. Directed by Ben Mowbray, who is currently attending auditions at drama schools, rehearsals have demonstrated the wealth of talent in Key Stage 5 as all technical, design and performance elements have been handled entirely by the students, with help and guidance provided by supportive specialist staff in dance, drama, art, technology and music.

To mark the school’s Christmas festivities, our twice-victorious ‘Elgar in Hereford Young Musicians of the Year’ music department will treat the local community to a plethora of seasonal performances, both instrumental and vocal, from our talented orchestra, ensembles and choirs, which involve more than 200 students. The highlight of the winter music calendar is the Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 17 at 7pm in St Michael’s and All Angels’ Church in Ledbury, to which all are invited.
