BOND is back – older but still wisecracking. Just in time for the new movie, Arts Alive introduces Gavin Robertson, multi-talented director, producer, writer and performer, as he focuses his attention on the Bond phenomenon………

Gavin Robertson trained in Lecoq-style physical theatre and this is his latest cartoon style adventure - exploding every cliché in the book(s)… solo! In which Bond meets his greatest arch-villain yet – author Ian Fleming himself, alongside Sean Connery (courtesy of a time-machine) and featuring the smallest car chase ever seen. Gavin Robertson performs with minimum props but maximum comic effect, and original music by Gavin’s three-time collaborator, Danny Bright.

Gavin Robertson’s brand of physical comedy has toured the world with past productions such as Fantastical Voyage, Spittoon and Crusoe seen at the Edinburgh Fringe, all over the UK, and in Brazil, Japan, Taiwan, the Middle East, Europe, Australia and the USA.

The name’s Gavin, Gavin Robertson will be at Luctonians Rugby Club, Kingsland on Friday, November 6 at 7.30pm.Tickets £25 include two-course meal. Dress code: black tie, James Bond themed or come as you are! To book, call 01568 709579/ 07905 589830
