FOLLOWING a hugely successful run at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms, a stage production of Shakespeare’s classic rom-com Much Ado About Nothing moves to The Regal Theatre in Tenbury Wells.

Set in 1939 at the end of the Spanish Civil War, the story of the battling wits of Benedick and Beatrice has had audiences in fits of laughter in this lavish show, which includes an original Spanish-themed score played by a live band.

The production has received rave reviews following its five-night run in Ludlow, and has been praised for the cast performances, the set design and the music. "We are thrilled to have been given such great reviews," says director Carl Walker. "We wanted to give audiences a show that was not only visually stunning, but also that was very funny. As one audience member said, we’ve created ‘RSC in the countryside’, and I like that!"

You can see Much Ado About Nothing at The Regal in Tenbury Wells on Friday and Saturday, October 2 and 3, at 7.30m with a matinee on Saturday. To book, visit regaltenbury.co.uk or call 01584 811442.
