FRESH from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, hilarious family film noir pastiche The Falcon’s Malteser comes to The Courtyard.
The Falcon’s Malteser is based on the comic mystery by Anthony Horowitz and follows the adventures of the hopelessly inept private detective Tim Diamond and his sharp witted brother Nick. The story has been adapted for stage by New Old Theatre.
The plot sees the Diamond Brothers Detective Agency on a thrilling case to discover just what is so important about those titular Maltesers. It features slapstick, comedy songs and a cast of four playing 20 brilliant characters, like The Fat Man (who has lost a lot of weight), Gott and Himmell, Lauren Bacardi, Beatrice von Falkenberg and Betty Cleaner.
Young people aged 14 – 25 can get 10 per cent off this show with the free-to-sign-up-for Courtyard Card.
The Falcon’s Malteser will be at The Courtyard on Friday, October 2 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
